Co-design toolkits play an important role in shaping how collaborative health research is done. To understand the resources that already exist, we have built a database and gap map of co-design toolkits used in health and community settings.
An evidence gap map is a visual way of organising existing resources to show where guidance is plentiful and where it is missing. Ours sits alongside a searchable database, so you can browse each toolkit in detail, search across their content, and see how they have been scored against a set of criteria. Together these views show what current toolkits offer, what they assume about participation, and where new resources are needed for more inclusive co-design.
