Workshop with Social Action for Health

We came together with Social Action for Health and community members to explore three co-design methods and see what each one opened up. We used plasticine modelling to connect people in the space and to think through experiences of pregnancy and gestational diabetes, giving everyone a shared starting point and a way into personal experiences. We also worked with journey mapping and scenarios to follow how people move through services and to imagine how things might be different. Spending time with each method showed us how much the way we ask shapes what people feel able to share, and how the same activity can surface very different things from one group to the next. What we learned here is shaping how we approach the workshops that follow.
